Keylan began playing music since age 5 on piano. He then moved on to play alto saxophone around age 11 and took on guitar at age 15. Having always been interested in electronics, the first time Keylan walked into a recording studio, he knew that he wanted to engineer and produce records. At age 17 he enrolled at Full Sail University earning an Associates degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Music Business by age 20. While at Full Sail Keylan won the project mix competition, an honor given to the top student for implementing mixing techniques and creative producing, judged by the many award winning teachers and program directors.
Since graduating Keylan has worked as an House Engineer at Jada Entertainment, Sales Manager for music retail companies, and Production Manager for several different venues. He created his own recording studio in 2013 under the name Fade Out Entertainment, in Mobile AL, and was very successful in helping plenty of local artist receive a pro product on a budget.
Keylan now serves as the Chief Engineer at Dauphin Street Sound and occasionally will be caught running live sound around the southeast.
